NTONYX MFX Kit 1 is the six MIDI FX plug-ins - Controller Adjuster, Drum Adjuster, Note Adjuster, Shape Creator, Step Adjuster, Velocity Scaler - created for use with Cakewalk software.

NTONYX MFX Kit 1 Plug-ins provides an extremely flexible and easy way for control and alteration of MIDI data as well as creation of really new material on the basis of the existing one. Besides, these Plug-ins display all necessary information concerning the transformed fragment in real-time.

NTONYX offers free presets for some MFX Kit 1 and MFX Kit 2 Plug-ins, which will enable you to create some useful bass, guitar, and piano patterns from your initial sequences of chords or melody lines, and enable you to alter and enhance your initial material.

Controller Adjuster is a MIDI FX plug-in for real-time adjustment of Controllers, Velocity, Pitch Wheel, Channel Aft and Key Aft in the track. Controller Adjuster displays the listed parameters available in the played fragment, allows to replace one Controller with another, as well as to flexibly change values for each Parameter independently. By changing various parameters the following adjustments are possible:

- to limit bottom or top values (Gate-, Gate+)

- to proportionally shift the values up or down (Shift+)

- to alter the value lineally (Scale) or non-lineally (Distortion) expanding or compressing the dynamic range.

All these settings can be applied simultaneously and the Parameter change function is displayed as a diagram in the lower section of the window.

Drum Adjuster is a MIDI FX plug-in for real-time adjustment of drum sounds in the percussion track. Drum Adjuster displays the drums available in the played fragment, allows to replace one drum with another, as well as to flexibly change Velocity values for each drum independently. By changing various parameters of Velocity the following adjustments are possible:

- to limit bottom or top values (Gate-, Gate+)

- to proportionally shift the values up or down (Velocity+)

- to alter the value lineally (Scale) or non-lineally (Distortion) expanding or compressing the dynamic range

- to introduce random value deviations (Rnd).

All these settings can be applied simultaneously and the Velocity change function is displayed as a diagram in the lower section of the window. Allows shift the same drum notes in all track.

Note Adjuster is a MIDI FX plug-in for real-time adjustment of note sounds in the track. Note Adjuster works similarly to Edit-Interpolate command in Cakewalk software, but provides some additional opportunities. Note Adjuster allows to simultaneously find 12 separate notes or note ranges in a track, with certain range of Velocity, Duration, Start Time and to interpolate them as follows:

- to compress or to expand the range of Velocity (Expand/Compression)

- to compress or to expand the range of Duration (Expand/Compression)

- to insert Offset for specified notes

- to change Pitch specified notes

- to delete specified notes.

Note Adjuster display shows the statistical data of the fragment - Notes, Velocity, Duration, Start Time. Using the mouse you can select the range for each parameter. For example, it is possible to choose one or several notes located within certain range of Velocity, Duration, or Start Time. After that you can set conditions of replacement (interpolation) of these parameters. All settings will be displayed in the selected line of the top pane.

Note Adjuster allows to simultaneously set 12 conditions of search and replacement, which will be applied one by one.

Shape Creator is a MIDI FX plug-in for real-time curve drawing of Controllers, Velocity, Key+, Offset, Duration, Pitch Wheel, Channel Aft, RPN, NRPN in the track. Shape Creator allows to set length of the form and interval, on which the drawn function parameter will be applied. According to this interval parameter will be repeatedly applied for the entire selected fragment. You can draw curves for four parameters simultaneously. Besides it is possible to set shift of drawn parameter (behind or ahead of the original position).

Step Adjuster is a MIDI FX plug-in for real-time limiting or shifting the Pitch range, whereas the notes do not change their step and can be assembled in the range of one octave. Step Adjuster displays the range and Pitch of discovered Notes. Each note step can be replaced with another. It is also possible to execute mirror reflection of a melody phrase (vertical flip) and to delete quiet or short notes.

Velocity Scaler is a MIDI FX plug-in for real-time correction of Velocity depending on the note number and duration. Velocity Scaler displays the range of discovered Notes, Velocity and Duration and also allows to draw a function (curve) of dependence of these parameters. It can be used for adjusting the sound of the played part, if a MIDI file is played back on a synth with voices and Velocity ratios differing from the instrument which was used originally.

System requirements: Same as for SONAR, Cubase 5, 6. MFX Kit 1 does not work under Windows Vista 64-bit and Windows 7 64-bit.
